Hapcho Times - 29th HOG Happenings

Hapcho Times - 29th HOG Happenings

Musician is the theme for 29th HOG, and dressers came up with their best interpreted costume for the photo-shooting! All is well during the whole progress of the HOG, from make up to the end of the photo-shooting, everyone was certainly excited and debating which make up and wig will look better.
We saw some members brought big cases of make up kit and amazing costumes...
Just how will this HOG turned out?

First off, we caught Shuang sleeping on the couch, she must has been tired before arriving at the Hapcho Headquarter! The photographers, on the other hand, were busy swapping their phones and checking their stuffs on their laptops. At least they're having fun too (playing Maple Story?) when the dressers were rustling around to get prepared for the photo-shooting. It was a beautiful day with golden glow which illuminated our dressers with perfect warm tone. Everyone noticed the wonderful weather outside and hoped for a successful photo-shooting.

When the dressers were all set and ready, everyone looked at each other with awe and admiration. Everyone's costume for that day was just brilliant and colorful, and each of them brought an instrument to complement with our theme - Musician.
"Looks like you're all doing a cover photo for a band or something!" One of the photographers jokingly remarked while doing our first formation of the photo-shooting - The Groupie Photo.

There were 6 dressers and 3 photographers on that wonderful day.

And here you can see, is a small garden near Hapcho Headquarter!

Jasper from the most left side of the picture is one of the photographers.
Shuang is the cheerful girl playing her chinese traditional instrument. And to complement that, she wore a beautiful red cheongsam-like costume and a blond bob wig.
Pei Pei had a black stylish loose jacket and white dress, her instrument was a saxophone. Very ladylike, isn't she?
Rei wore a black long wig, with two side fringes hanging loosely while the rest of the hair being tied up in a beanie. This musician was probably listening to inspiring musics through his headphone?
Then we have Pearl here, as an energetic girl with a love white top. She was holding a mic and posing in a very cheerful way.
Rachell chose a dress with powerful complementary colors - Yellow and Blue, to add more personality to her overall look! We all can guess she's a drummer here.
Jonathan, the guy in purple top, and Christine, the girl beside him, are the two other photographers here.
Calvin, the sexy guy with the guitar, was posing casually and his choice of costume made him looked like he's ready for action! Well, everyone was!

And after the group photo, it was time to break down those numbers. Then slowly to the anticipated candid shots.

This time, dressers were seated at the back of our preset backdrop. They were needed to pose within a limited range of space. At first, they were very anxious about the candid shoots and their poses seemed very rigid at glance. So we tried to loosen them up by giving them props and drapes and techniques to make them more relaxed. Thus, creating a more natural picture. The dressers and photographers interacted and laughed along the photo-shooting. They had so much fun that the dressers eventually forgot about being nervous and did their best in this candid shot. We're very proud of the final product of the whole thing (and of course, everyone's hard work) and the photo album for the 29th HOG will be released on the third week of September 2012. We hope others will join us for our next 30th HOG this month and there will only be a limited amount of slots for dressers to join! So stay tune for our next HOG!
